Key Role: Develop the annual strategy for the learning partnership’s functional area by working with management and curriculum managers to identify and validate organizational learning and development needs and build a specific plan to address those needs. Provide learning technology products, services, and support to internal clients and learning and development (L&D) programs. Oversee the management of all aspects of new program development, including program design, negotiation of vendor services, and implementation of programs and partner relationship management. Develop and maintain client relationships in support of learning programs. Develop, select, implement, or evaluate programs, processes, and systems that support specific capability areas. Manage core people development responsibilities and a team to achieve the preferred objectives. This position is located in McLean, VA. Basic Qualifications: -8+ years of experience with professional development, including platform facilitation, design, management, and evaluation of training programs -5+ years of experience with managing vendor relationships and performing contracting and sourcing activities -5+ years of experience with managing staff -BA or BS degree Additional Qualifications: -Experience with project management and program management in a learning and development environment -Experience with needs analysis -Experience with strategic planning, formalizing operating processes, and making process improvements -Experience with conceptualizing and using automated reports for the management of programs -Ability to effectively manage work through team performance to produce required results -Ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff, including senior management -Ability to take complex data and analyze it effectively to report on trends, forecast needs, or potential issues -Possession of excellent client management and consultative skills -Possession of excellent presentation, interpersonal, consulting, and negotiation skills -Possession of excellent written communication skills -MA or MS degree in Adult Learning, Human Resources Management, Education, or a related field preferred Integrating the full range of consulting capabilities, Booz Allen is the one firm that helps clients solve their toughest problems, working by their side to help them achieve their missions.
