We are thinking of having an evening 'big social' networking event. Not a lot of structure, but simply a big event for us all to network along with some of our corporate members and other corporate representatives from around the area.
Who: VCN (Meetup, LinkedIn & Facebook combined account for a membership of 350+ people) & other interested corporate representatives When: TBD Where: Willow Oaks Country Club (thanks to Mark Morton, President of Morton Consulting) What: Social Networking (offline of course) among unemployed members, newly employed members and corporate supporters Why: Social uplifting, have some fun, another opportunity to network How: Likely will need some help to pull this off. If you are interested, let one of the organizers know. If costs are involved, we will need corporate sponsors since we are grass-roots, volunteer driven, and no money.
