Contact Joe O'Hallaron, 804-935-5600. 1) Techno-Functional Analyst: Oracle Financial Techno-Functional Analysts for a Federal Oracle Financial Support Project: Job Description: To work as team member of an Oracle Federal Financial Support Project as "Oracle Financial Techno-Functional Analyst", which requires Requirement Gathering, analysis for support tasks assigned, analyze problem requests, prepare resolution design document and work with development team to get it developed, tested and implemented. Skill Set Required: Ų Minimum 3 years of Implementation and/or Support experience in Oracle Financial Suites with key modules like Oracle General Ledger, Payables, Purchasing, Receivables, Projects, Fixed Assets and Inventory. Experience and knowledge in Federal Environment is a plus. Ų Good knowledge of business process and accounting knowledge with big organization. Accounting knowledge/experience with federal agency is a plus. Ų Working knowledge and experience of SQL is must. Knowledge of PLSQL is a plus. 2) DBA Required Skills: * Minimum of 5 years experience as Oracle Applications DBA with recent skills in Oracle release 9i, 10g. * Databases: Oracle 10g, Oracle 9i and hands on with RAC environment. * Minimum of 3 years experience as Oracle Applications 11i DBA. * Good understanding of the 11i architecture and various Application and Database tier components and underlying objects. * Practical knowledge of concurrent processing, tracing and debugging, defining concurrent managers and concurrent programs. * In-depth working knowledge of both UNIX and Linux environments. * Managing database and applications security. * Languages: PL/SQL, SQL, Linux shell scripting and Java. * Experience with tools such as Oracle Enterprise Manager, custom-scripting, SqlNav/Toad. * Exposure to tools/utilities such as Oracle Discoverer, Oracle ADI, Workflow Builder * Experience with supporting full life cycle in a development environment. * Works with multiple projects of high complexity within multiple development/test environments. In addition to above: * Knowledge and experience with multi-node and multi-tier applications environments, load-balancing of eBusiness system is a plus * R12 experience a plus * Oracle SSO, OID and 10gAS is a plus. * Job Responsibilities: The position is for a Oracle Apps DBA to install and support a installation of Oracle eBusiness Suite utilizing Oracle RAC. The job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: * Install, upgrade, maintain, monitor, patch, and tune Oracle Applications eBusiness 11i, Oracle 10gAS server, and related databases. * Oracle Applications patch analysis, planning, and application. * Provide support to developers with trouble-shooting, and performance tuning. * Independent assignments and/or project participation such as upgrading Oracle Applications 11i and Oracle 10gAS server, including Discoverer, Portal, OID and SSO. * Maintain and develop backup/recovery process for Oracle Applications installations, using RMAN, BCV or scripts for online and offline backups. Disaster Recovery. 3) System Admin - Sr. UNIX Administrator * Minimum 5 years experience managing, configuring and installing HP-UX and Linux servers. * Should have expertise in the following areas, LVM, MC Service Guard, Kernel configuration, shell programming, Business Continuity Volumes (BCV), Performance Tuning and System Monitoring. * Should have working knowledge in the following areas; XP Storage Arrays, TCP/IP, NNM, ITO, VERITAS Net Backup, and Apache Web Servers. * Plus Skills would include; Oracle Databases, Java Programming, Oracle RAC and Dataguard. |

4) Technical Writer
* The position of Technical Writer will require developing and maintaining user, technical, project and business process documentation. * Works with key individuals in each area to obtain necessary information and make updates to the documentation. * Requires an understanding of the client's view relating to applications and /or technology in order to write standard operating procedures. * Supports the project by writing and editing technical documents and publications. Provides and produces technical documentation and prepares documents to appropriate USCG and CM standards. * Reviews program documentation to assure government standards/requirements are adhered to, coordinate with the Project Manager and/or Quality Assurance Engineers/Manager to facilitate problem solution and user satisfaction. * Reviews project documentation in the draft and final stages to provide improvements that include readability, comprehension, accuracy, completeness, redundancy, formatting, grammar, possible contradictions and compliance with documents and requirements. * Provides technical and administrative support for personnel authoring technical and non-technical deliverables, including the review of documents for comprehension, adherence to writing standards * Verifies that deliverable products fulfill contractual requirements and meet standards for quality. * Responsible for creating and maintaining training documents. * Identifies process problems with sufficient lead time to avert crises. * Works effectively as part of a team and seeks to support the team's goals above individual goals. 5) Technical Developer - Oracle Application Developer Requirement for Application developers for Oracle Financials ERP. Experience Level: 4 years Skills required : · Oracle SQL,PL/SQL. · SQL Loader and other data loader tools. · Oracle forms and reports (exposure to latest versions) Oracle Discoverer reports. · Oracle AOL. (Application Object Library) MS-Access. · Should have strong RDBMS concepts. Knowledge of JAVA would be a plus. Job Description: · Develop Forms and reports to be used in Oracle Financials. · Closely work with Analysts in understanding requirements and provide technical development support. · Should be able to work on product upgrades. · Onsite services for problem resolution, very good customer facing skills, and strong problem solving skills are a must. 6) Technical Developer - Oracle Application Developer (JAVA) Requirement for "Java-Oracle" Application developers to work on Oracle Financials ERP. Experience Level: 5 years Skills required : · Oracle PL/Sql, · JAVA J2EE, · Java Script, · Servlets, · XML, · Webservices. · Hands on experience with Application servers. Knowledge of Oracle development tools like forms and reports will be a plus. Job Description: · Responsible for maintaining existing JAVA code repository. · Closely work with Analysts in understanding requirements and provide technical development support. · Should be able to work on product upgrades. · On-site services for problem resolution, very good customer facing skills, and strong problem solving skills are a must. 7) QA Test Coordinator Role: To manage and coordinate the testing of all products produced by the developers. Create and execute test scripts/plans as well as perform all testing (functional and regression). Summary of Primary Duties: - 5+years of related IT experience. - Develops and executes formal test strategies and plans to ensure the delivery of quality software applications. - Participates in test planning, writing test cases/scripts, and test execution. - Testing will include functional and regression testing. - General business knowledge of finance, accounting, and Oracle financials is a BIG plus, but not required. - Desired experience testing Oracle upgrades. Detailed Description of Skills required: - Experience testing across multiple platforms: web, client and database servers. - Expert knowledge of information systems elements (hardware, software, network) and the application functions/processes. - Any test automation experience is a plus. - Works with multiple projects of high complexity within multiple development/test environments. - Works independently with senior management and technical groups across the enterprise. - Excellent knowledge of QA's role in the SDLC (including documenting test plans, executing test scripts, defect management, reporting status, etc). Required Skills for QA Test Coordinator: -Able to develop/execute test strategies and plans -Works well under pressure -A team player -Knowledge of Oracle Financials a BIG plus but not required 8) Deployment Manager Role: To manage and oversee the entire Release / configuration management process for all development products for USCG. Act as the 'Gate Keeper' for releases and create a build process. Possess full ownership from front to back (configuration through release) and define policies and procedures for how releases should be executed. To manage structured deployment and also understand and be able to fix why systems are failing. Summary of Primary Duties: -5+ years of related IT experience -Define Release Plans (write policy + procedures) -Define build process -Release packaging -Provide support -Release management Detailed Description of Skills required: -Knowledge and previous use of Version Control (PVCS VM / Visual Source Safe / Serena Dimensions / SharePoint) -Background in Software configuration management / release control -knowledge of Solution Management -Experience in Deployment -Experience in Release Planning Required Skills for Coordinator Manager/Deployment Manager: -Expert Knowledge of the SDLC -Works well under pressure -A team player -ITIL methodology a plus -CMMI certification a plus -Knowledge of Oracle Financials a BIG plus but not required |
