Expected Hiring Range: Pay Band 6: Salary negotiable


Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Direct and oversee the Senior Management team in the implementation of strategic and tactical planning, budgeting, creation of additional revenue streams, establishment of goals and objectives, agency performance and business activities, design and implementation of learning and development processes, management and supervision, establishment of metrics and reporting, as well as portfolio and project management. Direct agency-wide management processes to ensure achievement of agency mission and strategic plan. Consult with the agency Director regarding the achievement of agency goals.

Qualification Guide

Comprehensive understanding of effective business management practices, including accounting, budgeting, marketing, design of performance metrics (both financial and non-financial, including Balanced Scorecard), strategic planning, process management, project management, strategic human resources management and talent management strategies. Ability to achieve results and demonstrate strong executive management and leadership skills, think and plan strategically and creatively, execute effective operations, manage organizational performance, communicate persuasively, leverage IT, take appropriate risks, and persevere in resolving difficult problems.

A Master of Business Administration, or an undergraduate degree in business, public administration or related field and significant management level experience in the private or public sector; management experience in strategic planning, coaching and developing executive talent, and creating environments for productive and effective teamwork; or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
