Responsibilities: Performs analyses and prepares reports to assist customer in understanding, oversight and management of contract costs to include comparison of actual versus negotiated/planned contract costs. Maintains accurate records of expenditures and prepares reports on cost projections to assist customer in maintaining cost control. Specific responsibilities and deliverables are: 1. Conduct internal review of contractor invoices using established processes and reports. Organize, promote and attend customer review meetings of contractor invoices. Deliver bi-weekly review report. 2. Conduct internal validation review of contractor training staffing and support plan and integrated schedule against contractor invoices for accuracy and consistency. Organize, promote and attend customer review comparing contractor plan versus actuals (invoice). Deliver bi-weekly review report. 3. Attend and provide customer support for monthly Program Review and Program Cost Board meetings. The position requires a BA in business (accounting/management) or technical degree (BS). Individual must have at least ten years experience. Five years experience can be substituted for an advanced (Masters) degree. Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Must have skill in using personal computer and Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel and PowerPoint). Highly desirable: Must have exceptional Microsoft Excel and financial tool/database skills. Must have proven consulting experience working in high stress environment, with proven ability to complete work with minimum guidance and supervision.
