Position Description/Responsibilities:

Business Express will be a solution intended to provide new and existing businesses with the tools required to open and expand businesses in the New York City area. Additionally, the project is intended to provide businesses with a web location where they can log on to manage all of their business transactions with the City. The functionality created through Business Express will ultimately be provided through the web or by dialing 3-1-1. This request is for design/development resources for the implementation of this solution.



Responsibilities will include:

* Analyze and document business strategies, capabilities, functions, activities, information flow and processes and map them to overall technology capabilities
* Create definition of the Business Express organization and its business
* Develop high level estimates, roadmaps, business cases around technology solutions
* Liaise with Business Units to ensure alignment with goals of Business Express
* Provide assistance in requirements gathering, business component and process modeling, business modeling facilitation, work product documentation, and related general support activities for the Business Express Program
* Must be able to perform impact analysis scenarios and gap analysis activities.



Position Requirements/Technical Skills:

The following Mandatory Experience:

- Must have at least 8 years experience as a business architect

- Should have knowledge and experience in enterprise architecture development programs, processes, and tools such as Troux's Metis and/or Telelogic's System Architect

- Ability to communicate and collaborate with multi-disciplinary team members is required

- Ability to work on projects to completion with a minimum of supervision is required
