Collins,
I was contacted by Rosanna Coor of the Richmond Group concerning a HVAC Estimating position. Would you notify our members in case either they fit the description or they know someone that does? Respectfully, Dan Ramsey Project Manager, PMP (804) 796-7888 dan.ramsey@yahoo.com From: Rosanna Coor [mailto:rosannar@richgroupusa.com] Sent: Monday, April 06, 2009 4:55 PM To: Dan RAMSEY Subject: *Exceptional Richmond Based HVAC Estimating Role HVAC Estimating role in the Richmond, VA area, with a well established and growing contractor. The group is actually a younger company, almost 10 years in the industry- and they have doubled their profitability every year they have been in business thus far, and are on track to do it again, despite market conditions. They have done this by constantly looking for areas to increase their efficiency, productivity, and quality, as well as staying on top of industry trends and making adjustments to be ahead of the curve. The CEO of the company actually came from a strong mechanical/HVACs background himself- and is beginning to diversify their projects to include that market- targeting large scale commercial and industrial work. They are doing well with this venture, and looking to bring on an individual with a solid HVAC track record on large tonnage equipment- chillers, boilers, air handlers, cooling towers, heat pumps, etc., and a strong, successful history doing competitive bid work in this environment. Projects should range anywhere from $50,000 to $20 Million- strictly in mechanical components. Because this is a newer division of the group- this person will also have a tremendous impact on the growth and development of this department, and provided they are successful their first few years in helping grow the division, will be in a managerial capacity within a couple years, overseeing the mechanical estimating department. The right fit will be adept at all estimating and purchasing aspects for large scale commercial and industrial HVAC equipment, take off's, ( most work is plan & spec select bid, or hard bid work, some negotiated and design build is done as well, not the current majority ), buying the project out- and putting controls/plumbing/duct out for sub-contractor bid, RFIs, RFPs, helping to increase bonding capacity, and will be a very intelligent and driven individual with a strong desire to continue to advance their career long term within a growing organization. |
