This is in the Washington DC area Please review the following: THANK YOU Neal Farling Job Title: Sr. Project Manager Location: Washington, DC Click here to apply (mobile compatible) Responsible for entire project lifecycle delivery from planning, design, to implementation. -- Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements. -- Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities. -- Prepares for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures. -- Minimizes exposure and risk on project. -- Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately. -- Holds regular status meetings with project team. -- Effectively communicates relevant project information to superiors. Management Skills -- The candidate should have (10+ years) significant experience managing the technical components of large-scale projects and must have achieved mastery in all aspects of project management with emphasis on the technical aspects of planning, execution and deployment. -- Excellent organizational, planning and analytical skills -- Excellent communication skills; comfortable working directly with clients -- Ability to plan for and deliver on aggressive timelines -- Ability to work independently or as part of a team -- Ability to manage team resources Technical Skills: -- Experience in web-based and SOA technologies. -- Familiarity with UML, web services, legacy integration -- Possesses general understanding in the areas of application programming, database and system design. -- Experience in implementing Security projects is preferred. -- Working experience with RUP and agile methodologies highly desirable as client is moving to this lifecycle methodology. -- The candidate should have previous experience with IT development methodology throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
