Systems Engineer, RWSL project with FAA - Washington DC
90 Day Contract to Hire Washington DC Provide technical support to the RWSL Implementation team This is a system to control and operate Runway Status Lights. Apply engineering concepts, methods, principles, and practices to make decisions and propose solutions to Implementation Lead. Evaluates engineering studies, interprets construction drawings and symbols, has knowledge of service-oriented architecture concepts and practices. Communicates technical and/or regulatory information written/orally to a diverse audience. Travel up to 50% with in US. Requires experience in construction concepts, methods, and principles, and knowledge of Terminal/surface radar. At a minimum, possess at least a Bachelor's degree in engineering (civil, electrical, electronic, chemical, industrial, mechanical, aeronautical, or computer) from an accredited college or university and at least 20 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree in engineering (civil, electrical, electronic, chemical, industrial, mechanical, aeronautical, or computer) from an accredited college or university and 15 years of relevant experience.
