Required Candidate Background:

Viable candidates must have relevent HR management work experience for an academic, research, fine arts, and/or preservation institution/organization (i.e. the Smithsonian).



Skills:

8-10 years of HR experience including employee relations, recruitment, compensation, training, and organizational strategy. Ability to work effectively with limited supervision and collaborate with diverse individuals and constituencies. Management of HR processes and systems including hiring, performance evaluation, retention, and exit interviewing. Excellent communication skills required. SPHR or PHR certification preferred.
