This position will also be responsible for analyzing needs of assigned business units and will provide strategic HR direction to enhance business performance. Provides strategic HR support and counsel in the areas of workforce planning, talent/organization al development and performance, compensation, staffing, HR employment practices, staff relations, diversity, interpretation of HR policy, and compliance. Develops specific action plans with the business unit leaders to address their particular HR and workforce needs. Collaborates with appropriate internal HR resources to drive the development of strategies and programs to support the business units. Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in human resources, business or related field or an equivalent combination of education and job-related experience equal to 11+ years; master's degree in business administration or human resources preferred; at least three years of leadership or managerial experience preferred. Strong communication skills will be required in an effort to build value based relationships, engage in teamwork and provide consultative services. * Ability to interact with peers, managers and senior officers within the organization. * Must have a thorough understanding of HR strategy practices and programs; thorough understanding of HR policies and procedures; general understanding of HR-related federal and state laws and regulations. * Maintain confidential |
