Design strategy for demand forecasting and capacity planning. Collaborate with leaders to determine the most cost effective staffing models to meet operational targets. Develop and implement effective staffing models utilizing capacity management tools and techniques. Collaborate with leaders at various levels and across Genworth to drive capacity management efficiencies. Develop subject matter expertise in capacity management relating to assigned business processes, including upstream and downstream implications. Work closely with all resources engaged in capacity planning across the organization to ensure consistency across Genworth businesses. Utilize Six Sigma, Lean & process improvement techniques to improve cycle times and efficiencies. Identify specific issues and challenges related to capacity optimization, take ownership for successful implementation of capacity enhancements. May also serve as key data delivery manager for operations and business analytics. Owns, maintains, modifies, and creates, as necessary, the required data models for on-going reporting and analytics. Ensures data is valid and consistent. Works within the framework of established database operating procedures and in close cooperation with internal and external support personnel to ensure database optimization. Creates, documents, and archives key business and performance management queries. Serves as mentor and subject matter expert for data matters. Basic Qualifications: BS or equivalent work experience 5+ years experience in operations and demonstrated process management, project management, and/or process improvement experience Ability to develop clear, documented strategies Strong process management skill sets Demonstrated ability to solve complex issues with multiple, often conflicting requirements Strong Analytical and quantitative skills Strong Communication Skills and experience at all levels of the work force and management Must be adaptable to a rapidly changing environment Preferred Qualifications: BB or MBB experience/certification Exposure to Insurance call center or processing operations desired or other service operations Mastery of Ms Excel, Visio, Word, PowerPoint |
