Job Description:
Products/Techniques Required: Analysis - Business Intelligence, Analysis - Client Server, Analysis - Packages, Cost Benefit Analysis, Function Points, Presentations, Process Modeling - General, Systems Development Methodology Additional Comments about the position: Successful Applicant will work as a liaison between IT and the Clearinghouse user community. Specific business area assignment will depecnd upon background of applicant. Responsibilities/Duties1. Advocate for specific business areas within the client user community. Coordinate, prioritize, and manage Information Technology issues for business area. 2. Applicant will be responsible for requirements analysis in support of maintenance and/or capital projects. 3. Provide interpretation and research for regulatory issues as they relate to Information Technology and the business area. 4. Provide interpretation, procedural guidance and task prioritization for cross matrixed IT technical resources. 5. Analyze and interpret Sarbanes Oxley General Computing Control guidance for management and staff as necessary. Qualifications (such as education,experience,etc.) 1. Four Year degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, Math or technical equivalent with computer related experience preferred. Three + years experience in IT automation, supporting various databases and information systems preferred. 2. Experience in a power physicals and/or derivative trading environment a plus. 3. Strong work ethic and demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment. 4. Ability to work with all levels of management and to function on a team in a dynamic fast paced environment. 5. Strong organization and communication skills, proven time management capabilities and the ability to work independently. Highly customer focused, a positive attitude and ability to learn quickly.
