Sr. Project Mgr. position at SNL financial in C-ville

The Sr. Project Manager is responsible for end-to-end specification, development, testing, and release of assigned project deliverables. Leads other project managers to coordinate related project activities and mitigate cross-project risks. Independently scopes proposed enhancements, and works with internal business customers and other Project Managers to turn business requirements into actionable developer specifications. Works to mitigate risk while managing tasks, resources, and changes. Oversees or works independently to provide for data transformation, testing, troubleshooting, and end-user support needs. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Requirements for success include: BA or BS in Computer Science, Finance or a related field. Technical training or five or more years of experience in an analytical capacity and project management capacity preferred, experience managing/leading software products utilizing different technical platforms. Solid understanding of Microsoft SQL or equivalent databases is required. Prior corporate finance or investment banking experience preferred.
