SE will on-board legacy servers onto a new MPLS network.

We are looking for a System Engineer capable of using established processes to install various server management tools in a large IT environment. Evaluate each installation and troubleshoot as necessary. Provide technical guidance to project manager.

The candidate must be fully versed in UNIX and Linux operating systems such as Solaris, HP-UX, and Redhat. The candidate must have experience with installing Altiris and HPOV on those operating systems. Knowledge of Domain Naming Standard (DNS) and troubleshooting network connectivity (ports and protocols) is required.

Prefer industry recognized certifications.

Educational Requirements:
B.S. in Computer Science, Information Technology or other job experience

The ideal candidate will have strong written and oral communication skills. Experience working within matrix team structure. Detail orientated and a problem-solving attitude is essential.
