- ETL/Ab Initio/DB2/COBOL Stored Procedure Developer. - Master Level ETL Specialist to manage Enterprise-level Ab Initio, DB2 and Teradata environments. - Candidate should have in-depth knowledge writing and managing scripts run in UNIX environments, full development lifecycle for Ab Initio development, etc. - Responsible for the design, development and administration of transactional and analytical data constructs/structures. - Included within those responsibilities are the areas of data access and delivery technologies. - 5+ years Technology specific experience (multiple technologies). - Develops advanced domain specific technology solutions and guides their development into a final product. - Works independently. - Data mapping experience in implementation and design........5+ years. - ETL (using Ab Initio) experience in implementation and design........5+years. - Demonstrated ability to lead end to end ETL project and team. - 5+ years experience in full life-cycle of data warehouse projects and Operational Data Stores. - Ability to effectively communicate across multiple levels. - Experience with DB2 V8 or V9 on z/OS platform. - COBOL and DB2 SQL coding experience on z/OS platform. - COBOL DB2 Stored Procedure coding experience on z/OS platform. - TSO/ISPF experience. - ChangeMan software development experience. - Experience using scripting languages such as Korn Shell. - Knowledge of MDM concepts, data analysis, data warehousing and enterprise applications desired. - Must be able to learn quickly, make strong individual contributions and handle multiple projects in a team environment. - A bachelor's degree or above in MIS, Computer Science or related field. - Includes expertise in data mining, Extract Transform Load (ETL), design and documentation of data movement schemes, and mapping between applications. - Usually includes experience in Ab Initio or other ETL products. - The environment needs the candidate to have an understanding and experience in DB2 Environment, DB2 Utilities, COBOL Stored procedures, Teradata development and Unix scripting. |
