Selected candidate will create /edit technical documents, on and off-line, for accuracy, clarity, readability, and correctness to ensure that they meet editorial and U.S. Government specifications. Collects and prepares information required for the preparation of technical publications. Writes and edits documents to ensure appropriate grammar and format. Performs one or more of the following: prepare outline of contents of technical publications; prepare written text; provide editorial and integration functions; coordinate layout and organization of documents; obtain and interpret necessary data, drawings and specifications through research. Translates technical information into format appropriate for technical and non-technical audiences. Participates in formal reviews of contract deliverable documents. Ensures documents meet the editorial and government specifications as required. Work with the project manager and technical team to formal review base line schedule and assigned technical tasks. Documents includes but not limited to : System Design Document, Interface Design Document, System Administrator Guide. Experience in the following areas is required: - Minimum Qualifications: To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below: ·Bachelor’s degree in related field and four (8) years of editorial experience is required. (Experience may be substituted for degree). Ability to apply rules of accurate, clear, readable, and correct writing. - Must be computer literate (Internet, Email, Microsoft Office suite and, Microsoft Project Server etc.). |
