Northrop Grumman is seeking a public health professional with program evaluation experience to support multiple projects in the Center for Disease Control and Prevention’s Coordinating Office for Global Health (COGH). This individual should have a public health scientific background with technical expertise in areas of the design and implementation of key program monitoring and evaluation activities. The candidate will provide expertise in the design, implementation, and use of performance measures for pandemic influenza preparedness.
The Evaluation Analyst will have broad contributions across the COGH organization. These will include providing in-depth knowledge of program evaluation practice to assure use of data for accountability and program development purposes, identifying specific outcome indicators from existing literature and/or related data collection efforts (such as United States Agency for International Development, World Health Organization, etc.), completing sophisticated analyses of data collected, completing field-testing of electronic forms for usability, and collaborating with staff from participating agencies across the Department of Health and Human Services to assure consistency in performance measurement activities. In addition, the individual will attend national and international meetings and workshops to support participation in performance measurement activities. Key Responsibilities * Develop data standards, policy and quality control measures for submission and use of data from priority countries * Work with applications staff to prepare user-friendly electronic forms for data collection and warehouse for data storage * Prepare reports and disseminate data collected for accountability and program development purposes * Develop a common data warehouse for entry, analysis, and storage of information from relevant international programming Required Skills and Experience * Public Health scientific background, preferably in monitoring and evaluation Desired Skills * Experience in global public health * Experience supporting CDC is a strong plus Educational Requirements: * Masters in Public Health If interested, send resume to Collins Denny - collinsd@lesr-it.com |
