My name is Gary Huff, I am looking to make connections to Virginia Union University.

In my most recent experience I leveraged my project management skills to launch a national volunteer program for Sigma Phi Epsilon. As a result we increased the number of volunteers and created an online learning center. Participation in the learning center exceeded expectations. As a member of the executive committee I served as a team member establishing the national strategy for the largest men's' college fraternity in the nation. From that plan I was able to develop actionable strategies and tactics that could be undertaken by headquarters staff.

Prior to my experience at Sigma Phi Epsilon, in my role as controller at Philander Smith College, on the oldest HBCU's west of the Mississippi, I acted at the chief accounting officer. Here I was able to leverage my strategic planning skills to develop a plan to transform the financial management of the college. Faced with cash flow struggles we developed and implemented tactics that increased cash flows to the general fund, eliminated debt, and established a cash reserve.

I would like a leadership role in the finance and operations area.
